About the event
In September 2021 Nina and Cynthia from The Consent Collective packed up their home and began travelling the UK in their striking sign written van, visiting survivor organisations across the country and holding circles where people could talk about healing from injustices caused by sexual harm and relationship abuse. For The Consent Collective this was a step into an adventure. An adventure about how they go about doing their activism work and a step towards their ambition of opening a retreat centre.
After months on the road they are full of stories to tell. Stories from the people, places and animals they have encountered on their journey. Stories about journeying, about holding space, about generosity, activism and healing from injustice. Join us for an evening of tales and poetry as they share some of the stories they have gathered so far.
Whilst tickets are free of charge please consider being prepared to make a donation to the vital work carried out by RSVP at the event.
